What You’ll Do
Director / Senior Director of Commercial Analytics & Insights for an in-line rare disease therapeutics, responsible for planning and executing analytics functions (data/sales analytics, forecasting, competitive intelligence, market research), enhancing reporting infrastructure, surfacing performance signals in real time, and partnering with commercial leadership to drive data-informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute an integrated commercial analytics strategy.
- Build and maintain reporting infrastructure (dashboards, automated data pipelines, standardized reporting cadences).
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of prescription trends, patient flow, HCP engagement, and payer dynamics.
- Monitor and interpret KPI framework (new patient starts, prescription trends, persistence, adherence, field call activity) and produce weekly/monthly packages for leadership and the CCO.
- Support sales analytics (field force performance reporting, territory diagnostics, ROI on promotional spend, incentive comp inputs).
- Maintain/refine patient-based forecast models using real-world performance, epidemiology, access dynamics, and competitive developments.
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain on demand planning, inventory management, and operating plans.
- Maintain competitive intelligence and synthesize competitor activities into implications for brand strategy and field messaging.
- Identify and guide primary market research; generate insights to inform brand refinement and commercial tactics; synthesize findings into actionable strategic guidance.

Who You Are (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s required; MBA/MS/PharmD/PhD strongly preferred.
- 8+ years in commercial analytics/insights (rare disease/specialty preferred).
- 2+ years leadership experience.
- Experience with post-launch maturation (performance tracking, forecast refinement, commercial optimization).
- Experience with rare disease data sources (e.g., specialty pharmacy, claims, IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, Veeva) and epidemiology-based forecasting.
- Proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint and analytics tools (Power BI/Tableau); ability to build/maintain dashboards.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Where You’ll Work
San Francisco/Bay Area; in-office collaboration Tuesday–Thursday weekly required.
