Director, San Diego Technology

Role: Lead enterprise laboratory technology platforms, including OT, cybersecurity, sensors, and IoT, at San Diego research site. Objectives: ensure operational excellence, security, compliance, and strategic technology evolution; serve as the primary site partner for DTE, capturing and prioritizing site requirements. Responsibilities: manage a $3M budget, oversee platform delivery, foster cross-functional stakeholder relationships, lead modernization initiatives (automation, IoT-enabled lab environments), and build high-performing teams. Act as the site's product owner, translating scientist needs into demand, managing change, and aligning platform roadmaps with site priorities. Requirements: 10+ years in enterprise technology leadership, with experience managing complex platforms, vendor ecosystems, and operating in GxP/SOX regulated environments. Strong stakeholder engagement, program and financial management skills, and proven team development.
