Role Summary
Director, Retail Marketing—Lead the development and execution of retail channel marketing strategies to optimize GSK’s vaccine portfolio performance, focusing on retail decision makers and field/store level customers. Bridge marketing and sales to deliver on retail vision and drive vaccine availability and pull-through.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute retail marketing strategies to drive business growth
- Build understanding of needs in collaboration with Retail Account Directors and Retail Channel Managers for retail customers and stakeholders
- Own retailer performance tracking and narrative, identifying successes and opportunities
- Build processes with Innovative Solutions to bridge retail performance and systems sales
- Define and create content for utilization at account and field level engagements
- Integrate narratives to guide retail interactions and drive engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: 8+ years of marketing experience, pharmacy product development or pharmacy operations experience
- Required: 3+ years of people leadership
- Required: Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies in complex environments
- Required: Strong communication and influencing skills
- Preferred: MBA or Pharm.D
- Preferred: 4+ years of retail marketing, retail product development, retail operations, or retail field leadership experience
- Preferred: Knowledge of vaccines, US market dynamics, and retail dynamics
- Preferred: Brand management experience within vaccines
- Preferred: Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to apply data to decision making
