Role: Director of Research and Development Technology, leading IT strategy and infrastructure to support Scholar Rockโs R&D pipeline across research, translational, preclinical, CMC, regulatory, and safety functions. Objectives: develop strategic digital solutions, enable AI and automation initiatives, and ensure scalable, compliant systems supporting global operations. Responsibilities: serve as primary IT partner for R&D, translate scientific and regulatory needs into digital roadmaps, own technical architecture and lifecycle management of scientific and compliance systems, and lead cross-functional integration and data strategies. Establish governance, delivery, and operating models aligned with GxP and regulated environments; oversee external partner collaborations; build and lead a high-performing IT team. Qualifications: Bachelorโs in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related; 10+ years supporting biotech/pharma R&D, CMC, regulatory, or safety IT; deep architecture expertise across scientific and compliance systems; experience with regulated data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks); proficiency with modern data engineering, AI, and GxP environments.
