Director, Research AI

Role: Strategic Director of Artificial Intelligence to lead AI expansion in biopharma research, focusing on integrating AI-driven workflows into drug discovery, particularly for siRNA therapeutics. Responsibilities: develop agentic AI systems, embed AI solutions in research activities (target and ligand discovery, experimental design, data analysis), define AI strategy, lead a cross-disciplinary team of data scientists and engineers, and coordinate with enterprise IT for scalable, compliant AI infrastructure. Qualifications: PhD or MS in Computational Biology, Computer Science, AI/ML with 10+ years in industry applying AI/ML in drug discovery, proven leadership in AI product delivery, expertise in multi-agent systems, Python, cloud environments (AWS, GCP), and experience with biological research workflows, especially nucleic acid therapeutics. Preferred: experience with lab-in-the-loop AI, enterprise data platforms, and deploying AI in regulated settings.
