Director Regulatory Intelligence

Role: Regulatory Intelligence Director within AstraZeneca's Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) Regulatory Affairs, focusing on translating external regulatory signals into strategic insights to support pipeline and asset development. Responsibilities: analyze and interpret global regulatory trends, assess impact on disease areas, collaborate cross-functionally with regulatory, clinical, and commercial teams, and identify opportunities for regulatory pathway innovation. Additionally, liaise with regional teams and leverage emerging technologies like AI for process efficiency. Requirements: advanced science degree, 7+ years in regulatory strategy, deep understanding of US/EU regulatory landscapes, strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred: knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech development, R&I therapeutic areas, and prior experience in competitive intelligence or policy. High-value: expertise in drug/biologic development, regulatory policy, and global health authority interactions.
