Key Responsibilities
- Lead the regional commercial demand planning process for all products; collaborate with Global Trade Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Supply Planning.
- Ensure forecasts are accurate and data-driven, accounting for market trends, promotions, launches, and product life-cycle management.
- Monitor consumption trends/variances and adjust forecasts to support uninterrupted supply.
- Own/facilitate the regional Commercial S&OP process; align on demand, supply constraints, and mitigation plans.
- Present demand/supply outlooks to executive stakeholders and provide regional input into the global S&OP cycle.
- Act as regional point of contact for commercial supply escalations (backorders, allocation decisions, stock imbalances).
- Coordinate with global commercial supply chain product leads to identify root causes and resolve issues.
- Communicate supply risk, mitigation plans, and recovery timelines to Commercial teams.
- Serve as supply chain liaison for Commercial, Customer Service, and Regional Leadership.
- Partner with Regulatory, Quality, and Finance to ensure compliant, cost-effective distribution.
- Support commercial launches and market expansions from a supply planning/readiness standpoint.
- Track KPIs (forecast accuracy, OTIF, backorder levels, inventory health) and lead continuous improvement.
- Represent region in system/process upgrades (e.g., demand planning tools, ERP).

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Life Sciences, or related; 12 years supply chain experience or 10+ years with master’s. MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- APICS/CSCP or similar certification asset.
- 10+ years supply chain experience; at least 5 years in commercial supply chain (biopharma/life sciences).
- Strong demand planning, S&OP leadership, and commercial supply issue resolution.
- Experience with small molecule and biologic commercial products highly desirable.
- Regional/matrix leadership experience strongly preferred.

Skills/Competencies
- Strong analytical/planning skills; forecast accuracy and supply continuity focus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management; present to senior leadership.
- Deep understanding of commercial supply chain in regulated environments.
- Proficient in planning systems (SAP IBP, Oracle, Kinaxis, OMP) and advanced Excel.
- Agile, solution-oriented, able to work under pressure.

Travel Requirement
- Up to 25% regional travel; occasional global travel.
