Role
The Director of Real-World Data & Epidemiology (RWD & Epi) Analytics will lead the design, execute, and communicate observational studies using diverse RWD sources to inform clinical development, market access, and health-policy decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CORE asset leaders to design, execute, and report observational and epidemiologic studies (feasibility, protocol development, RWE/Epi methods, data analysis, final reporting).
- Conduct feasibility assessments using claims, EHR, registries, and patient-generated data.
- Support HTA with survival and economic modeling.
- Execute studies: manage table shells, analytic data files, analysis plans, programming, statistical methods, and QC.
- Present designs and results to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Evaluate emerging data modalities (e.g., SDOH, genomics, biomarkers, clinical notes) and integrate into evidence framework.
- Lead and scale AI applications in routine RWD & Epi analytics.
- Mentor and coach RWD/Epi scientists and programmers.
- Define governance/processes for study execution, data management, and documentation.
- Evolve and scale data/analytics infrastructure with DD&AI (pipelines, reproducibility, data security/compliance).
Requirements
- PhD or Masters in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public Health, or related field.
- 10+ yearsβ experience in real-world evidence and epidemiology analytics.
- Expertise in observational study design and statistical methods (survival/modeling, regression, IPTW, MAIC, causal inference).
- Hands-on proficiency in SAS, R, Python; AI/ML frameworks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management.
- Oncology experience preferred.
