The role involves strategic portfolio planning, resource and risk management, and supporting innovation in project delivery. Qualifications: BS/BA in Science or Engineering; advanced degree preferred. Requires 10+ years in Medical Device/Pharma industry, with 10+ years in R&D project management and leadership. Skills include excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management, with proficiency in MS Office, MS Project (preferred), and certifications like PMP advantageous. Experience with process improvement, systems thinking, Agile methodologies, and leading complex programs is essential. High-value biopharma specifics: focus on device/pharma R&D, cross-functional leadership, governance, and strategic portfolio management, with a broad scope covering early development to lifecycle management. Reports to senior leadership; role supports strategic initiatives and innovation within the R&D organization.
