Director, R&D AI, Insights & Analytics

Role: Lead R&D data, analytics, and AI strategy for pharmaceutical development, focusing on transforming data utilization across the drug discovery and clinical lifecycle. Responsibilities: define and execute data and AI roadmaps; establish data governance frameworks; support modern data platform development (cloud-based, lakehouse, data lake); develop clinical benchmarking, dashboards, and predictive analytics; identify opportunities for AI-driven process acceleration; partner with enterprise teams on platform implementation; conduct assessments and develop future-state roadmaps; collaborate with cross-functional R&D teams to identify high-value data opportunities; manage external vendors; present strategies to leadership; monitor emerging technologies for innovation. Requirements: Bachelor's in Data Science, Computer Science, Life Sciences or related; 10+ years in R&D analytics, digital transformation, or AI within pharma/biotech; experience with clinical development, data governance, cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure); knowledge of clinical data standards (GxP, SDTM, FHIR); strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
