Director, Quality Compliance and Audits

Role: Director, Quality Compliance and Audits (QCA) at Gilead, leading global GMP and GDP audit programs to ensure compliance across manufacturing and supply networks, including internal sites and external partners. Responsibilities: develop and execute risk-based audit plans, oversee audit lifecycle, lead and develop audit teams, promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement, and manage systems and data integrity. Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to identify risks, interpret regulatory requirements, and implement digital solutions for audit efficiency. Supervises direct and contingent staff, fostering talent development. Requirements: BS/BA in Sciences with 12+ years or MS/MA with 10+ years biotech/pharma experience; proven GMP/GDP auditor with leadership experience; knowledge of global regulatory standards and inspection processes; excellent communication and analytical skills. Preferred: experience engaging with authorities or regulatory bodies. High-Value: experience within biologics, small molecules, or medical devices; familiarity with GMP/GDP regulations; leading audits in regulated environments; supporting compliance in manufacturing and supply chain contexts. Travel: 30%.
