Director, Program Operations Leader - Ophthalmology/Renal

Role: Lead clinical trial operations for complex programs within a sponsor-side pharmaceutical environment, focusing on clinical trial management strategy and delivery. Responsibilities: oversee clinical study timelines, budgets, quality, and vendor management; develop and implement operational strategies from study concept through execution; provide operational insights during protocol design and feasibility; monitor KPIs, manage risk mitigation, and ensure compliance with GxP, ICH/GCP standards; lead and develop clinical operations staff, and interact with senior management and external partners. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; minimum 12 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including 8 years in clinical operations; strong leadership and strategic planning skills; expertise in vendor management and clinical trial lifecycle management. Preferred: experience managing complex, multi-phase clinical programs, vendor relationships, and cross-functional collaboration. High-value: sponsor-side clinical operations, program leadership, vendor oversight, phase 1-3 trials, and regulatory compliance. Work setup: on-site in the US (4 days/week in-office, 1 day remote); up to 25% travel.
