Role: Director of Program Management within Takeda's Research Strategy and Operations, focusing on integrating scientific expertise with operational and strategic planning to advance drug discovery pipelines. Responsibilities: develop and execute comprehensive program plans, oversee cross-functional team collaboration, manage budgets and timelines, facilitate decision-making, and drive portfolio performance; mentor teams and lead organizational initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 18+ years, or Master's/PhD with 16+ or 10+ years of relevant experience; 5-7 years in early and late-stage drug discovery program management; PMP certification required. High-Value: extensive experience in early (target identification, hit-to-lead) and preclinical/IND-enabled stages of drug development; strong background in project delivery, risk mitigation, financial management, and stakeholder engagement; proficiency with project management tools and methods. Location: Boston, MA; hybrid work setup. Compensation: $177,000–$278,080 base salary, with potential incentives and benefits.
