Position Summary:
The Director, Program Management, is assigned to early and/or late development stage asset(s). Acts as a strategic partner to the Global Program Lead (GPL) to shape and deliver the Target Product Profile (TPP) and Integrated Development Strategy (IDP) for assigned asset(s) and product indications. Ensures rigorous execution of the IDP.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Program Management SME; strategic thought partner to GPL/GPT and helps build a high-performing team.
- Execute IDP per asset indication; partner with sub-teams to align to TPP/IDP and accountabilities.
- Lead matrixed PM team members to create/maintain integrated cross-functional timelines including scenario plans, risk management, alternative strategies, and acceleration/cost-savings opportunities.
- Lead risk management at GPT and ensure timely escalation/mitigation for high-probability/high-impact risks; deliver risk management plan.
- Monitor direct budget and resource health for assigned assets/indications; advocate for resources needed to deliver per governance approval.
- Represent PM SME in leadership/governance stage-gate discussions.
- Support GPT annual objectives and budget planning (annual and long-term portfolio).
- May matrix-manage and/or directly line manage aligned Program Management resources; may serve as trusted deputy to the GPL.

Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA or Ph.D. desirable) in Life/ Chemical/ Physical Sciences or related; PMP certification desirable.
- 12+ years industry experience; 10+ years drug development program/project management; experience across therapy areas.
- Demonstrated experience across research/drug development phases including global regulatory submissions (IND/CTA through NDA/BLA/MAA/JNDA/NDA China) and lifecycle management.
- Proven PM success leading complex teams with strong matrix leadership.
- Executive presence; ability to present/influence/gain alignment at senior levels.
- Ability to manage interdependencies across therapeutic/disease areas, functions, and geographies.
- Expertise in PM methodologies/tools: planning/control, risk management, stakeholder management, and soft skills.
- Ability to resolve critical technical/business problems and shape enterprise-significant long-term strategy.
