Director, Product Portfolio and (Global Strategy, Commercial and Business Development) GSCBD Finance (strategic finance leader)

Responsibilities:
- Partner with GSCBD leadership on budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning (LRP).
- Support portfolio governance (stage gates, prioritization cadences, post-investment reviews).
- Prepare materials and recommendations for GSCBD leadership.
- Evaluate ROI, NPV, payback, and risk profiles across a multi-product portfolio.
- Support balanced investment across core, growth, and exploratory products (with VMRD).
- Reallocate funding proactively as market and strategy evolve.
- Build and validate product business cases; define funding models with product and commercial teams.
- Run scenarios and stress-test assumptions for resilient investment decisions.
- Track financial and non-financial KPIs vs. business cases; identify variances, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Develop standardized frameworks, dashboards, and tools to monitor value, risk, and capacity.
- Monitor/analyze/report operating expenses and P&L items; support monthly/quarterly close and senior leadership reviews.
- Assist with forecasting and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) submission, including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team; drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; Master’s/MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Advanced financial modeling (Excel) and executive-level PowerPoint/written analysis.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise financial systems (S4/HANA, Anaplan, HFM, Essbase, OneStream or comparable).
- Strong communication and ability to influence matrixed teams.
- Narrative/storytelling ability for data-driven business cases.
- Proven change leadership and time management; willingness to travel as needed.
