Director, Pricing & Contracting

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pricing and contracting operations and launch readiness/post-launch market access strategies.
- Build pricing/contracting materials and training for payer account teams; inform pricing strategy using data, competitive analysis, and pricing research.
- Evaluate and support value/outcomes-based contracting; lead business case development with analytical modeling; communicate offer modeling to Market Access.
- Review contract language to support negotiations and patient access; lead negotiation and red-lining; track contract lifecycle; perform lookback analysis.
- Own revenue management operations with a 3rd-party vendor; develop SOPs for GP methodology, rebates/fees, FSS, and gross-to-net; ensure government program configuration (e.g., market entry/first sale dates).
- Manage government price reporting compliance (Medicaid, Medicare, PHS/340B, Tricare, VA/DOD), including AMP reporting and internal approvals.
- Oversee contract set-up and payment processing (claims review, off-invoice discounts, adjudication support, dispute resolution, diversion/duplicate discount checks).
- Conduct pricing/contracting modeling and scenario planning (rebates, WAC/ASP deltas, share shifts).
- Lead state price transparency reporting SOPs, registrations/fees, and quarterly/annual submissions.
- Lead compendia submissions (MediSpan, Red Book, Gold Standard) and ensure data integrity.
- Support state licensing and coding applications (NDC, HCPCS, J-codes).

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred).
- 8–10+ years in pharma/biotech; 6+ years in pricing, market access, or contracting (specialty/gene therapies preferred).
- Strong GP/program knowledge (Medicaid/Medicare/FSS-Tricare/340B-PHS), contracting strategies (outcomes/value-based), and analytical modeling (Excel).
- High MS Office proficiency; strong communication/presentation; cross-functional leadership and compliance/continuous improvement mindset.

Compensation
- Base salary expected: $220,554–$269,566/year; additional performance bonus and equity.
