Role Summary

Director, Precision Medicine, Biomarker Lead - Solid Tumor oversees the development and execution of biomarker strategies for Regeneron's Oncology Portfolio in Clinical Development. Leads design, development, and communication of clinical biomarker strategies across early and late-stage programs, and builds relationships with internal teams and external KOLs.

Responsibilities

  • Present strategy-driven biomarker packages at senior leader meetings
  • Provide strategic leadership and cross-functional alignment of biomarker strategies with key stakeholders
  • Develop strategic vision and lead implementation for clinical biomarkers to enable target identification, indication selection, early biological activity signals, and patient stratification/selection
  • Oversee and manage Precision Medicine deliverables across multiple oncology programs; ensure end-to-end, high-quality execution of strategy
  • Collaborate with Oncology Research and product development teams to integrate Precision Medicine strategies for discovery-phase molecules and clinical development in Oncology
  • Collaborate with internal Regeneron groups (Discovery Research, Molecular Profiling, Regeneron Genetics Center, Core Facilities, BioAnalysis, etc.) to plan validation and application of research assays

Qualifications

  • Required: Ph.D. and/or MD equivalent; 10+ years of cross-disciplinary pharmaceutical/biotech experience in the industry
  • Required: Minimum 5 years in oncology clinical drug development

Skills

  • Strong managerial experience with high emotional intelligence, organizational skills, and effective team leadership
  • Ability to drive, manage, and deliver results for complex multi-functional projects
  • Ability to collaborate across matrixed teams and departments with strong communication and organizational skills
