Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic vision for clinical biomarkers in one or more therapeutic areas (advancing target identification, indication selection, and patient stratification).
- Serve as a senior Precision Medicine representative on development teams; deliver biomarker strategies from concept to execution and results interpretation.
- Collaborate with Discovery Research and product development to incorporate biomarker strategies for discovery-phase molecules.
- Represent Regeneron with allied companies to develop and implement biomarker strategies for partnered alliances.
- Partner with clinical operations to implement biomarker/exploratory sample collection and analyses across studies.
- Design, oversee, and manage internal/external research collaborations in clinical technologies and translational research.
- Ensure complex clinical assays are fit-for-purpose (internal or external development/validation).
- Contribute to and ensure quality of technical reports, study memos, clinical study reports, and scientific publications.
Qualifications/Required:
- Ph.D. and 10+ years driving, managing, executing, and delivering complex, multi-functional projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with high emotional intelligence.
- Strong organizational and team collaboration skills.
- Strong track record mentoring and developing direct reports.
- Deep experience in biomarker assay development and validation in clinical drug development (focus outside Oncology).
