Director, Portfolio Strategy (Inflammation & Immunology)

Responsibilities:
- Support development of long-range commercial and portfolio strategy across early pipeline assets, lifecycle opportunities, and emerging disease areas.
- Synthesize scientific, clinical, commercial, access, competitive, and patient insights to inform portfolio priorities and strategic trade-offs.
- Assess near-, mid-, and long-term opportunities to identify differentiated value creation.
- Translate portfolio strategy into recommendations and decision materials for leadership.
- Monitor shifts in the scientific/competitive landscape to identify trends, risks, and development opportunities.

- Develop and refine early commercial assessments for pipeline assets, indications, mechanisms, and disease-area opportunities.
- Support product concepts, target product profile input, positioning hypotheses, market archetypes, and commercial opportunity assessments.
- Translate unmet need, standard of care, competitive dynamics, patient/HCP insights, and access considerations into commercial hypotheses.
- Provide commercial input to clinical development, evidence generation, lifecycle, and indication sequencing.

Qualifications (Minimum):
- Bachelor’s + 8 years; OR Master’s + 7 years; OR PhD + 5+ years.
- Experience in pharma/biotech/life sciences, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, commercial development, business development, forecasting, market research, analytics, or related.
- Strong strategic/analytical skills; ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
- Experience supporting portfolio strategy/early commercial assessment/business case/opportunity assessment/cross-functional planning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrixed environment.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Preferred:
- Experience in Inflammation & Immunology/autoimmune/specialty care.
- Early commercial strategy, portfolio management, corporate strategy, or Business Development assessments.
- Market access understanding; payer considerations; evidence/value demonstration.
- Comfort with AI-native/AI-augmented environments.

Work Location: Hybrid
Benefits/compensation: Base salary $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% of base; eligibility for long-term incentive; comprehensive benefits (401(k), paid leave, and health coverage).
