Director, Portfolio Governance & Congress Strategy
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end Oncology portfolio governance; develop/evolve governance strategies, decision-rights clarity, and operating rhythms aligned to global commercialization priorities.
- Lead cross-functional governance forums to ensure stakeholder alignment, clear decision outcomes, and disciplined execution across programs.
- Integrate governance cadence with enterprise planning cycles (CSRE, LTFP, leadership reviews) to synchronize portfolio decisions with financial/operational planning.
- Build standardized governance infrastructure (templates, decision logs, performance trackers) for executive decision-making.
- Own department-level multi-congress engagement strategy; coordinate Oncology congress commercial activities (e.g., ASCO, ESMO, ASH, AACR).
- Establish partnerships with Medical Affairs, US Marketing, Market Access, and R&D; oversee congress budgets/participation models.
- Lead cross-functional engagement models delivering complex, business-critical outputs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA strongly preferred)
- 7–10 years combining management consulting and biopharma/pharma commercial leadership
- Experience designing/leading governance structures in complex, matrixed organizations
- Exceptional written/verbal communication for executive-level deliverables
- Strong project management across multiple workstreams
- Ability to influence/build alignment without authority; self-starter in ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Oncology commercial experience; congress strategy/execution experience
- Travel 25–30%
