Position Summary
Director, Pipeline Forecasting, Neuroscience: Independently develops, maintains, and delivers forecasts for one or more therapeutic areas to inform brand strategy, enterprise planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end forecasting for assigned Neuroscience brands with transparent, evidence-based assumptions.
- Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and chart audits into forecasts.
- Support short-term (1- and 3-year) and long-range (10-year) forecasting cycles; build scenario plans.
- Develop and execute AI-first forecasting models (Excel-based, algorithmic, or data-enabled); perform calibration, documentation, and quality control.
- Run scenario/sensitivity analyses; provide feedback to Data Science, BI&T, and Forecasting Transformation teams.
- Partner with Finance/MAx/Commercial/Pricing/Medical/Worldwide to align assumptions and explain forecast drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Mentor analysts and promote transparent, continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Required/Preferred Skills
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical forecasting, commercial analytics, or related quantitative fields.
- Bachelorβs degree required.
- Proficiency in forecasting methods, scenario modeling, and pharmaceutical secondary data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony).
- Experience with Excel-based, algorithmic, or AI-enabled forecast models.
- Familiarity with Python or comparable tools (preferred).
