Position Summary:
The Director, People Experience Communications is responsible for shaping and delivering strategic communications for the People Organization, in alignment with HR and enterprise objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute integrated, audience-first communications strategies and campaigns supporting BMS People Strategy and enterprise priorities.
- Apply marketing/brand mindset to internal communications using segmentation, insights, and creative concepts to drive engagement and behavior change.
- Drive employee engagement through bold storytelling connecting employees to purpose, strategy, and impact.
- Lead creative narrative/content development (video, digital, leadership platforms, social-style storytelling) across internal and external channels.
- Partner with People Org and Corporate Affairs to deliver cohesive communications across inclusion & Culture, PBRG, and broader People initiatives.
- Build and deliver enterprise-level campaigns reinforcing culture, values, and employee experience.
- Translate complex transformation initiatives into clear, motivating communications.
- Align messaging, channels, and editorial strategy for leadership and employee audiences.
- Lead multi-channel communications (enterprise email, video, digital platforms, live experiences such as People Week, town halls, activations).
- Innovate continuously by testing new formats, channels, and storytelling techniques.

Requirements:
- 10+ years employee communications experience in Pharmaceuticals or other highly regulated industry.
- Bachelor’s in a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership/collaboration with internal teams and agency support.
- Marketing/brand or agency environment experience strongly preferred.
- Proven strategic campaign design/execution aligned to business priorities.
- Ability to translate strategy into compelling storytelling and content experiences.
- Strong understanding of modern channels/formats (digital, video, social-style content).
- Exceptional written/interpersonal skills; success executing complex change management campaigns.
- Strong presentation/facilitation skills; ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Experience working with ambiguity and complexity.
- High comfort building trust with stakeholders in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting compensation range: $185,640–$224,952 (Princeton, NJ).
