Position Summary
As a member of the Market Access Team, support Ardelyx patient access and affordability programs by enhancing the patient and prescriber experience across the full treatment cycle.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the strategic vision and roadmap for patient access programs and reimbursement hub services.
- Architect scalable, future-state Patient Services Models to improve access, experience, and outcomes.
- Establish and evolve performance frameworks and KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Oversee governance and optimization of standard operating models, policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Analyze macro trends in patient access and reimbursement to shape innovative strategies.
- Advise executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on patient services and access challenges.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to design integrated solutions that remove barriers to therapy access.
- Drive innovation and digital transformation in patient services via tech-enabled solutions.
- Develop patient engagement and adherence strategies using data and stakeholder input.
- Provide strategic oversight of external vendors and partners through governance and performance management.
- Inform annual and long-range brand planning using data on reimbursement and program effectiveness.
- Identify risks/opportunities and design mitigation and growth strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree; advanced degree preferred (MBA, PharmD, RN, PA) with 9β12 years experience in patient access/market access/reimbursement strategy.
- Proven enterprise strategy development and execution in patient services/market access.
- 5+ years leadership experience influencing cross-functional teams and partners.
- Deep expertise in payer systems (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial).
- Strong understanding of provider workflows and the patient journey.
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory/compliance/privacy frameworks including HIPAA.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience using data/analytics/digital solutions for scalable patient access models.
- Strong business acumen and analytical ability.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Compensation
- Anticipated base pay range: $214,000β$262,000; bonus and equity may be included subject to eligibility.
