Role Summary: Craft strategy and design of patient services across the patient journey to meet needs of patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as subject matter expert for PPS in Primary Care product teams.
- Lead development, execution, and operationalization of patient support programs; ensure launch requirements for patients and providers.
- Create tools to improve launch quality/efficiency; monitor and audit launches.
- Track therapeutic area trends and brand needs.
- Evaluate/manage cost-effective affordability vendor solutions with Affordability CoE; optimize brand-level expenditures based on patient outcomes.
- Develop affordability strategies for commercially insured and cash patients.
- Set strategic direction for Hub services (vendor selection, design, performance monitoring); oversee operations and provider-facing support.
- Proactively surface patient access journey insights; lead active case management with Hub and A&R teams; partner with Channel Management for frictionless Hub-to-SPP experience.
- Partner with best-in-class vendors (e.g., prior authorization, AI-powered where applicable) to support patient journey and field reimbursement teams.
- Shape direct-to-patient options (willingness to pay, reimbursement dynamics); enhance patient experience (e.g., consent management); reflect prescribing/dispensing trends.
- Monitor external landscape, competitors, and payer trends; translate insights into recommendations.
- Integrate PPS leadership strategy into marketing/planning; lead/co-lead business reviews; design compliant programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs required; Advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years in biopharma patient services strategy (or related).
- Strong strategic planning and financial skills; cross-functional leadership/stakeholder management.
- Exceptional written/verbal communication; commitment to growth/collaboration.
Preferred:
- Vendor experience (prior authorization, direct-to-patient); advising launch teams on patient support strategy; knowledge of access/adherence programs; strong analytics and interpersonal skills.
