Director, Patient Safety (MD)

Role: Patient Safety Medical Review Physician (MD) providing medical leadership for safety report assessments of marketed and investigational products. Responsibilities: oversee case safety report review activities, ensure high-quality safety assessments, lead peer retrospective medical review quality control, support audits and inspections, develop and refine review processes, and mentor junior staff. Collaborates with global safety teams on SUSAR reporting and provides strategic medical consultation across safety functions. Qualifications: MD/DO with completion of residency; minimum 4 years' experience in medical review or relevant industry role with strong regulatory knowledge; excellent clinical judgment, communication, and project management skills.
