Director of Patient Marketing

Responsibilities
- Lead the development of a robust multi-channel patient media strategy.
- Design and optimize branded and unbranded initiatives that educate and support patients throughout their entire journey.
- Transform patient insights into strategic actions; refine marketing approaches and optimize campaign performance.
- Drive patient engagement strategy through multi-channel marketing and high-impact creative messaging.
- Lead strategy and execution of a multi-channel media plan (TV, digital, social) by aligning content (ads, videos, website) to patient preferences and patterns.
- Develop, deploy, and continuously optimize unbranded and branded communications and media assets for patient education and engagement.
- Establish goals and critical metrics to measure marketing effectiveness; support continuous learning and data-driven optimization.
- Collaborate across functions including franchise marketing, healthcare provider and payer marketing, product communications, patient services, IT, sales, commercial effectiveness, advocacy, compliance, medical, and legal/regulatory teams.
- Engage agency partners; manage scopes of work and ensure timely execution; foster collaborative relationships.
- Build business cases for investment; contribute to Patient Marketing budget management and resource tracking.
- Collaborate on scenario-based investment recommendations that support brand goals and strategic imperatives.

Qualifications
- BS degree in marketing or similar field.
- 10 years pharmaceutical experience in brand management/marketing in biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry.

Required/Preferred Skills & Experience
- Patient marketing experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record in multi-channel media planning and execution, including website strategy.
- Creative, patient-first mindset.
- Strong analytical capabilities to turn data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and storytelling (written, verbal, visual).
- Strong strategy and execution with solid marketing fundamentals.
- Experience managing external partners (e.g., consultants, agencies).

Work Location & Travel
- Hybrid role based out of Bridgewater, NJ; option to work remotely most of the time with in-person collaboration as needed.
- Occasional domestic travel up to 15%.
