How you’ll make an impact:
- Serve as an Immunology Translational Medicine Program Lead on cross-functional project teams; develop translational medicine and biomarker strategies to support early and late phase clinical trials
- Collaborate with the Medicine team to develop clinical trials for appropriate patient populations
- Oversee seamless implementation of translational assays in the clinic in partnership with Translational Medicine Biomarker Operations and Clinical Operations
- Develop and validate clinical assays at outsourced partner laboratories using multiple platform technologies (cell-based assays, molecular-based assays, single/multiplexed immunoassays, flow cytometry and/or imaging)
- Review and interpret data/results from multiple biomarker assay types and integrate findings
- Present translational medicine data packages internally and externally as required
- Coordinate external collaborations with academic partners and CROs to deliver results on time and on budget
- Review and author translational medicine sections of clinical documentation (clinical protocols, study reports, consent forms; abstracts/manuscripts; regulatory documents such as IND/IB)
- Build a biomarker knowledge base tied to disease outcomes to advance clinical-stage programs
- Monitor and incorporate novel biomarker technologies
- Interface with the Translational Medicine Head to ensure alignment

Skills and experience you’ll bring:
- PhD + 8–10 years in translational medicine/science in biotech/pharma
- Success leading immunology and/or respiratory translational medicine efforts
- Experience delivering high-quality clinical biomarker data
- Track record working with CROs to design and execute studies
- Innovation applying novel translational approaches
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary: $195,000–$330,000; eligibility for annual bonus, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits
