Director, Optimization & Strategic Initiatives
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and franchise-level strategic initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness, customer engagement, and organizational performance.
- Translate enterprise strategies into roadmaps, operating models, governance structures, and measurable business outcomes.
- Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders; evaluate opportunities, identify capability gaps, and develop transformation strategies.
- Build business cases and executive recommendations to support investment and organizational change.
- Champion new ways of working and a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Drive design, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs enhancing customer engagement effectiveness, organizational readiness, and cross-functional process optimization via closed-loop performance management.
- Advance LOOP readiness and adoption by integrating people, process, data, technology, and governance to enable personalized, coordinated, and measurable engagement.
- Implement and optimize LOOP capabilities; assess brand readiness; partner with Integrated Brand Teams on planning, content, journey orchestration, measurement, and execution.
- Simplify/standardize/optimize commercial, medical, and analytics processes; lead cross-functional process redesign; develop governance models and operating procedures.
- Establish closed-loop measurement frameworks, define KPIs, and develop executive dashboards; translate insights into recommendations.
- Collaborate with Technology/Data/Digital teams to operationalize AI-enabled capabilities and new platforms; assess data/technology readiness and drive adoption.
- Influence senior stakeholders; facilitate executive governance; lead cross-functional workstreams; communicate progress, risks, and impact.
Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics, business strategy, commercial operations, marketing excellence, management consulting, transformation, or related.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives.
- Strong business acumen connecting strategy, operations, analytics, and execution.
- Experience in organizational transformation, change management, and process optimization.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management; ability to influence senior leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data to drive decisions.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- MBA/MPH/MS or related advanced degree.
- Pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare/life sciences experience.
- Omnichannel engagement and customer strategy/commercial excellence/customer experience experience.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled business processes and advanced analytics.
- Experience implementing enterprise operating model transformations and large-scale change.
