Director, Optimization & Strategic Initiatives

Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and franchise-level strategic initiatives to improve commercial effectiveness, customer engagement, and organizational performance.
- Translate enterprise strategies into roadmaps, operating models, governance structures, and measurable business outcomes.
- Partner with Marketing, Analytics & Performance Excellence (APEX), Brand Excellence, Customer Engagement Strategy & Innovation, Medical, Commercial Operations, and Technology to execute AI-enabled, data-driven capabilities.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve strategic programs for enhanced customer engagement, organizational readiness, optimized cross-functional processes, and closed-loop performance management.
- Drive implementation and ongoing optimization of LOOP capabilities; partner with Integrated Brand Teams to ensure readiness across planning, content, journey orchestration, measurement, and execution.
- Identify, prioritize, and redesign business processes across Commercial, Medical, and Analytics to improve efficiency and customer impact; establish governance and operating procedures.
- Establish closed-loop measurement frameworks, define KPIs/success metrics/dashboards, and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with Technology, Data, and Digital teams to advance AI-enabled capabilities; prioritize/operationalize platforms and drive adoption of capabilities for personalization, omnichannel execution, and measurement.
- Lead cross-functional teams and stakeholder alignment; facilitate executive governance forums and provide executive communications.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/MPH/MS or related preferred.
- 10+ years in analytics, business strategy, commercial operations, marketing excellence, management consulting, transformation, or related.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional strategic initiatives; strong business acumen connecting strategy/operations/analytics/execution.
- Experience in organizational transformation, change management, and process optimization.
- Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management; strong analytical/problem-solving.

Preferred
- Pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare/life sciences experience.
- Omnichannel engagement, customer strategy, commercial excellence, or customer experience program experience.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled business processes and advanced analytics.
- Experience implementing enterprise operating model transformations and large-scale change.
