Role Summary

The Director, Opinion Leader Programming (OLP) Breast will oversee and execute marketing initiatives focused on healthcare professional peer-to-peer education for TRODELVY in metastatic breast indications, including speaker programs, advisory boards, speaker training, and related live or virtual programs. This role serves as the primary contact for peer-to-peer education and vendor management related to this work.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee development of HCP speaker program content, training materials, and live/virtual training programs in compliance with guidelines.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive professional education marketing strategy aligned with company and brand goals across metastatic breast cancer indications.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with operations for all Speaker Bureau nominations and other HCP engagements, including contracting, documentation, and records retention.
  • Lead development and execution of innovative HCP medical education to maximize participant engagement and attendance in partnership with Regional Marketing.
  • Manage logistics, speaker selection, training, and content delivery for educational events.
  • Partner with the Home Office and Regional Marketing to co-develop strategy with the Gilead Breast Cancer Council of opinion leaders.
  • Lead initiatives on peer-to-peer and influence mapping.
  • Support annual breast advisory board planning, aligning with HQ Marketing and contributing to content as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Liaise with regional marketing to maintain strategic plan for 3rd party programming, including budget and KPI monitoring.
  • Assist with metrics reporting and provide insights on trends to Marketing & Sales on an ongoing and ad-hoc basis.
  • Support development and execution of HCP-led field trainings in partnership with sales training and core brand team.

Qualifications

  • Required: Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and present to KOLs; strong strategic thinking to formulate, develop, and execute strategy; ability to translate market research into actionable insights; ability to understand and communicate clinical data and high-level science.
  • Preferred: 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience; 10 years of pharmaceutical experience; oncology launch experience; MBA or other advanced degree; knowledge of the breast marketplace and disease states; existing relationships with key breast HCPs.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree with 12+ years of experience, or Masterβ€šΓ„Γ΄s Degree with 10+ years of experience, or Ph.D. with 8+ years of experience.
