Role Summary
The Director, Opinion Leader Programming (OLP) Breast will oversee and execute marketing initiatives focused on healthcare professional peer-to-peer education for TRODELVY in metastatic breast cancer indications. The role involves speaker programs, advisory boards, speaker training, and other live or virtual programs, serving as the primary contact for all matters involving peer-to-peer education and management of vendor support.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development of HCP speaker program content, training materials, and live/virtual training programs in compliance with guidelines.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive professional education marketing strategy aligned with company and brand goals across metastatic breast cancer indications.
- Ensure consistency and compliance for all Speaker Bureau nominations and other HCP engagements, including contracting, documentation, and records retention.
- Lead development and execution of innovative HCP medical education to maximize participant engagement and attendance, in partnership with Regional Marketing.
- Manage logistics, speaker selection, training, and content delivery for educational events.
- Partner with the Home Office and Regional Marketing to co-develop strategy with the Gilead Breast Cancer Council.
- Lead initiatives on peer-to-peer programs and influence mapping.
- Support development of the annual breast advisory board plan, align with HQ Marketing, and participate in cross-functional content development.
- Liaise with regional marketing to maintain strategic plan for 3rd party programming, including budget and KPI monitoring.
- Assist with metrics reporting and provide insights on trends to Marketing & Sales, ongoing and ad-hoc.
- Support development and execution of HCP-led field trainings in partnership with sales training and core brand team.

- Required: Interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and present to KOLs.
- Required: Excellent strategic thinking with the ability to formulate, develop, and execute strategy.
- Required: Ability to gather insights from customer engagements and translate market research into actionable plans.
- Required: Ability to understand and communicate clinical data and high-level science.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience; OR
- Master's Degree and 10 years of experience; OR
- Ph.D. and 8 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
- 10 years of pharmaceutical experience
- Launch experience in Oncology
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Knowledge of the Breast marketplace and disease states
- Existing relationships with key Breast HCPs
