Director, Operations - Pharm Ops

Role: Senior leader overseeing pharmaceutical operations at a new small molecule manufacturing site, responsible for strategy, site build-out, operational ramp-up, and ongoing production excellence. Responsibilities: lead site and IPT strategic planning, develop future operating models, ensure compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency; lead cross-functional coordination; manage budgets and resource planning; foster a culture of continuous improvement and talent development. Requirements: Bachelor's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related; 10+ years in regulated pharma/biotech manufacturing with experience in site start-up, project management, and operational leadership; strong knowledge of cGMP, quality systems, and safety protocols; proven leadership in complex environments. Preferred: Master’s degree, experience in small molecule manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma certification, and global manufacturing experience.
