Purpose of the Position
- Provide Operational Technology (OT) security leadership by coordinating across the global enterprise to develop robust security solutions, improving the organization’s security posture and ensuring manufacturing, research, and animal health operations remain safe, secure, and resilient.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead critical initiatives by coordinating technical teams and business partners to execute top security priorities.
- Chair the Operational Technology Security Task Force to drive progress and resolve execution challenges.
- Coordinate the Operational Technology Security Council (Executive Directors and Assistant Vice Presidents across Manufacturing, Research, and Animal Health) to align on strategy and secure top-level support.
- Build a unified, holistic OT security strategy by identifying gaps and opportunities.
- Influence and align stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment, often without direct authority.
- Translate technical goals into actionable plans and report progress to senior leadership.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge of OT and essential experience in OT security.
- Exceptional leadership: manage and influence senior stakeholders; build consensus at the executive level.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering results.
- Pharmaceutical experience is a plus; welcome experience from other complex, regulated sectors (e.g., energy, critical infrastructure, defense, utilities).
Required Skills
- Compliance frameworks, cybersecurity, data management, IT risk management/governance/assessments, knowledge of regulations and frameworks, OT, stakeholder management, strategy development.
