How You Will Make An Impact
- Lead initiatives applying lean principles and continuous improvement tools to improve effectiveness and efficiencies of processes and procedures.
- Participate in project teams and lead operational excellence assessments and discussions to improve operational processes, speed/clarity of decision-making, and quality/speed/cost while maintaining high-quality delivery to customers and patients.
In This Role, You’ll Have The Opportunity To
- Lead operational transformation and improvement projects across multiple functions.
- Identify improvement opportunities, plan actions, and ensure rigorous execution and delivery.
- Collaborate with teams to prioritize opportunities, manage ongoing projects, solve problems, and address challenging issues.
- Advance OE strategy; implement tools/systems for continuous process improvement, daily management systems, and culture change.
- Provide training, mentoring, and day-to-day OE coaching.
- Design and publish performance management reports and OE updates for executive and staff audiences.
- Build/improve operational excellence business processes; author SOPs.
- Comply with policies, quality assurance, safety/environmental standards, and current GMP.
To Succeed In This Role, You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in technical/life sciences/related field; Master’s preferred.
- 12+ years Operational Excellence experience; extensive knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma (Six Sigma Black Belt preferred).
- Project management tools and MS Office proficiency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving; ability to influence/manage in a matrix environment.
- Preferred: Medical Device/Pharmaceutical industry experience; familiarity with GMP, FDA guidelines, regulatory requirements.
- Experience quantifying business benefits of OE initiatives.
