Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as Oncology Medical lead for assigned customers (Northeast U.S.), providing objective, scientifically sound medical and outcomes-based information on Pfizer Oncology products.
- Develop and deliver real-world evidence, pharmacoeconomic insights, and HIT-enabled initiatives to improve patient care, close quality gaps, and support population health.
- Lead customer-specific medical strategies and collaborations; engage key external stakeholders; support formulary and decision-making needs; and work cross-functionally within Pfizer to align outcomes research, insights, and medical initiatives.
- Lead high-impact outcomes initiatives that close quality gaps, advance population health, and support formulary and care-delivery decision-making.
- Translate customer insights into enterprise value through cross-functional collaboration with HEOR, Field Medical, and commercial partners.
- Maintain deep market and customer intelligence within a complex, evolving healthcare landscape.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills:
- PharmD/PhD/Terminal degree with 5+ years of experience OR Masterβs degree with 7+ years of experience.
- Experience in one or more of: clinical, formulary, and/or health-system management; Managed Care/pharmaceutical industry/health-system operations and/or Quality Improvement; data analytics and/or HEOR with strong study design, data analysis, and interpretation skills.
- Significant experience interacting with healthcare decision makers and population health providers.
- Ability to communicate scientific information clearly and concisely.
- Understand and communicate study design, methodology, data analysis, and interpretation principles.
- Experience influencing and collaborating with peers to create business impact; strong situational leadership.
- Ability to travel (including overnight) up to 40β50%; must be located within a 2-hour drive of a major airport.
- Valid U.S. Driverβs License; able to operate a Pfizer company car and regularly fly on airplanes.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Field base role requires driving and other modes of travel with overnight stays.
