Director, Oncology Commercial Data Science & AI Products

Role: Lead the end-to-end strategy and development of AI-driven commercial and medical solutions within AstraZeneca's oncology portfolio, serving as the primary product owner and strategic partner for field-facing AI capabilities. Responsibilities: define and execute AI product roadmaps across tumor indications, lead GenAI and agentic AI application delivery, partner with cross-functional teams for discovery, development, and deployment; establish scalable, reuse-first platform architectures; manage stakeholder engagement, change management, and impact measurement; oversee governance, compliance, and data stewardship; pilot emerging AI techniques and continuously evaluate industry trends for roadmap enhancement. Requirements: Bachelor's in a quantitative field; 7-10+ years experience including pharma commercial or strategy consulting; proven end-to-end AI product ownership with measurable impact in oncology; proficiency in LLMs, Python, cloud platforms, and oncology data sources; strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred: advanced degrees (MBA/MS/PhD), prior oncology commercial expertise, GenAI experience in pharma, leadership in AI transformation, and publications or conference presentations.
