Responsibilities
- Own the omnichannel capability roadmap; define business requirements; partner with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and architectural design.
- Serve as the primary liaison between brand marketing and IT to prioritize and implement new platform features, connectors, and integrations.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and AI solutions to support evolving campaign needs and improve executional excellence.
- Serve as hands-on business owner for MarTech platforms, including Drupal (AcquiaSiteStudio) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email and Contact Builder).
- Lead development of solutions to increase content reuse and generation using DAM and CMS capabilities.
- Oversee and document end-to-end technical production processes for each platform.
- Establish and enforce platform governance standards (naming conventions, folder structures, data privacy compliance including consent management/opt-outs).
- Manage technical output from external development vendors and agencies to ensure quality and security standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (playbooks, data dictionaries, process flows) for knowledge transfer and consistent operations.
Qualifications / Experience
- BS degree required (MBA or advanced degree preferred) with 10+ yearsβ experience in digital transformation, digital marketing operations, and marketing technology strategy; life sciences or healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Hands-on platform experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio).
- Proven experience building and managing a marketing technology roadmap.
- Demonstrated success defining, building, and scaling new capabilities and leading through change.
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving mindset; ability to champion change and innovative thinking.
- Excellent organizational skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits / Compensation
- Expected salary range for Director, Omnichannel & Marketing Capabilities/AI: $230,000β$240,000 annually.
