Responsibilities:
- Own the omnichannel capability roadmap; define business requirements and partner with cross-functional teams on technical specifications and architectural design.
- Serve as the primary liaison between brand marketing and IT to prioritize and implement new platform features, connectors, and integrations.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and AI solutions to support evolving campaign needs and improve executional excellence.
- Serve as the hands-on business owner for MarTech platforms including Drupal (AcquiaSiteStudio) and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email and Contact Builder).
- Develop solutions to increase content reuse and generation using DAM and CMS capabilities.
- Oversee and document end-to-end technical production processes for each platform.
- Establish and enforce platform governance standards (naming conventions, folder structures, data privacy compliance including consent/opt-outs).
- Manage external development vendors/agencies to ensure quality and security standards.
- Create and maintain technical documentation (playbooks, data dictionaries, process flows).
Qualifications:
- BS required (MBA/advanced degree preferred); 10+ years in digital transformation, digital marketing operations, and marketing technology strategy; life sciences/healthcare experience preferred.
- Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience (Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio).
- Proven experience building/managing a marketing technology roadmap; defining/building/scaling new capabilities; leading through change.
- Ability to independently drive projects to completion.
- Strong collaboration, empathy, problem-solving mindset; champion change and innovative thinking; excellent organizational skills.
