Role: Director of Operations for Extended-Hours Support (ExHS) within Natera's Data Science Production Engineering (DSPE) department, overseeing lab production data analytics support. Responsibilities: lead and mentor a team of 10+ engineers and analysts across shifts, ensuring timely, accurate analytics support for lab operations, and managing critical incident responses; develop and maintain cloud-based workflow technologies (AWS, Snowflake); optimize operational procedures for compliance (CLIA, FDA), quality, and efficiency; foster cross-functional stakeholder communication and reporting; drive process improvements and staff training. Requirements: Master's in Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Operations Research; 8+ years industry experience with at least 3 years in regulated environments; 3+ years management of medium-sized teams in production or operational roles; proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS cloud tools; strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred: Doctorate degree, familiarity with diagnostic lab processes, genomic technologies, and GxP standards. This position offers a salary range of $205,000—$256,200 with comprehensive benefits.
