Director of Operations, Data Analytics for Production Support, Extended-Hours

Role: Director of Operations for Natera's Extended-Hours Support (ExHS) team within the Data Science Production Engineering department, responsible for overseeing lab data analytics support for production operations. Objectives: ensure timely, accurate analytics support during standard and extended hours to facilitate diagnostic and genomic workflows. Responsibilities: lead and mentor a team of 10+ engineers and analysts, enforce compliance with CLIA, FDA, and quality standards, develop operational dashboards and cloud-based analytical workflows (AWS, Snowflake), and manage incident response during emergencies. Collaborate with stakeholders, translate analytics into actionable insights, and drive process improvements. Requirements: Master's in Statistics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; minimum 8 years industry experience (or 4 with a PhD); at least 3 years in regulated environments (CLIA/FDA); 3+ years in team management; proficiency in Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS cloud tools; experience developing dashboards (QuickSight, Streamlit). Preferred: Doctorate degree and knowledge of genomic technologies.
