Role Summary
The Director of Marketing will lead oncology marketing for Head and Neck Cancer and the planning of future amivantamab indications. The position will be responsible for the development of an integrated U.S. strategy, directing all marketing activities and the design, planning, and execution of all the promotional tactics to support the launch and marketplace success of amivantamab. The position will be responsible for integration of brand and sales strategy for the Head and Neck indications and must work closely with sales leadership as well as the Lung Marketing teams. The Director of Marketing will work closely with Global Commercial Strategy to ensure successful launches and future pipeline planning. The Director of Marketing must work closely with multiple functions including Sales, Sales Training, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Strategic Customer Group, Medical Affairs, Global Commercial Strategy, R&D, New Business Development, Corporate Communications, and outside agencies and vendors in order to effectively execute key commercial activities. The position will lead a team of marketing professionals (including staff that has direct reports) and will be responsible for staffing, training, and developing the marketing team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop an integrated commercial business plan and strategic plan for the HNSCC.
- Develop brand strategies and tactics to support launch and growth of our Head & Neck indications in the US market with significant competition.
- Establish annual Marketing Plans for all assets and execute promotional tactics with a focus on innovation.
- Provide forecasts for products and updates throughout the year.
- Utilize market research and analytics to gain insights to help prioritize resources and properly plan product tactics.
- Co-ordinate promotional activities with sales management.
- Partner with Sales Training on marketed products and updates as needed.
- Collaborate with asset teams on pricing and contracting strategies.
- Plan and execute promotional activities at company conventions.
- Support franchise team cross-functional initiatives.
- Work to continually improve protocol, timetables and resource allocation to accomplish all tasks including sales lead process.
- Responsible for annual financial forecasts.
- Support development of IEGP for the prostate portfolio to build and strengthen an impactful value proposition for key stakeholders.
- Plan distribution tactics for products.
- Manage marketing budget to support financial objectives.
- Interact effectively and supports franchise new product development project teams. Continually assesses competitive landscape and responds accordingly.
- Work compliantly and within regulatory guidelines to achieve goals.
- Work closely with Medical Affairs, Global Commercial Strategy, R&D, New Business Development, Corporate Communications, to ensure appropriate resources and organizational alignment to capitalize on short-term and long-term business opportunities.

Qualifications
- Required: Minimum Education - Bachelor’s degree; MBA is preferred.
- Preferred: Area of Study - Biology/Scientific background is preferred.
- Required: A minimum of 10 years business experience (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Management, etc.).
- Required: A minimum of 5 years demonstrated marketing experience and proven performance.
- Preferred: Oncology sales or marketing experience.
- Required: US in-line marketing experience (professional and/or consumer).
- Required: Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies.
- Required: Proven leadership capabilities with ability to work effectively in a matrix and unstructured environment.
- Required: People management experience.
- Preferred: Product Launch experience.
- Preferred: Previous Pharma Sales or Sales Management experience.
- Preferred: Global Marketing/ Early Commercial Development experience.
- Location/Travel: This position is in Horsham, PA and requires up to 25% travel within the U.S. with limited outside U.S. travel.
