Director of Sustainability

Responsibilities
- Steward the Board-approved sustainability strategy; ensure execution, disclosure, and alignment with regulatory and risk requirements.
- Define ownership and accountabilities for sustainability data, risks, and disclosures; set targets and KPIs.
- Own Telix’s annual climate and sustainability reporting cycle (AASB S2), including consistency/comparability and preparation of Board/ARC-ready disclosures.
- Develop and continuously improve the Scope 3 GHG emissions inventory from FY2026 (boundary setting, categories, estimation methods, documentation, audit readiness).
- Strengthen sustainability reporting controls, documentation, and audit trails for limited/reasonable assurance.
- Integrate sustainability/climate risks into the Enterprise Risk Management Framework; ensure monitoring, escalation, and reporting through ERM/ARC processes.
- Provide guidance to senior leaders, Finance, Risk, and Operations for compliant data collection and disclosures.
- Launch and chair a cross-functional sustainability working group.
- Promote sustainability culture; develop training programs.
- With business units, implement programs for energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, sustainable procurement, and other ESG initiatives; drive carbon footprint reduction and resource efficiency.
- Stay current on trends/regulatory changes; manage external advisors/assurance providers.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in sustainability/environmental science or related; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years’ sustainability/environmental management experience (global program ownership and leadership).
- 5+ years in a highly regulated global manufacturing environment (biopharmaceutical preferred).
- Strong knowledge of climate disclosure standards (AASB S2, ISSB/IFRS) and experience preparing Board-approved disclosures.
- Ability to manage complex projects, influence change, analyze data, and present to senior leadership/board committees.
- Up to 15% travel.
