Director of Forensics and eDiscovery β€” lead a combined team delivering defensible electronic discovery collection and forensic data collection/analysis for legal matters, A&D projects, employment matters, insider-risk investigations, and cybersecurity events. Ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective handling of electronically stored information (ESI) and forensic evidence.

Responsibilities
- Lead analysts performing forensic collections and advanced analysis (file system, memory, endpoint, mobile, cloud) and deliver defensible forensic outputs.
- Partner with Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, HR, and business stakeholders to scope matters, prioritize work, and communicate findings.
- Perform technical forensics and root-cause analysis of electronic devices/artifacts.
- Mentor team; develop processes/playbooks ensuring defensibility, reproducibility, and chain-of-custody integrity; oversee tool selection/deployment.
- Manage risks; establish KPIs for forensic/eDiscovery effectiveness.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree; 12 years relevant technical experience.
- Digital evidence expertise: preservation, chain of custody, admissibility/defensibility.
- File systems/storage; OS internals (Windows/macOS/Linux, iOS/Android); cloud collections (Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure); memory forensics/volatility.
- Scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash); strong eDiscovery lifecycle and ESI preservation knowledge; privacy/data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Experience supporting litigation/regulatory/employment/insider-risk cases; strong written communication; familiarity with AI/ML forensic tools.

Preferred qualifications
- 12+ years digital forensics; 6+ years leading/managing forensic teams.
