Role Summary

Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Biopharmaceutical Sciences and Manufacturing Operations. This role partners with CMTO, DST Finance, and the broader CFO organization to drive analysis and insights for CASGEVY, support P&L, capital and inventory budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and month-end close processes. Based in Boston, MA with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with External Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial functions to influence CASGEVY operations and optimize decisions as part of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Identify ROI/trade-off opportunities to drive profitability and support decisions around CASGEVY manufacturing and supply chain strategy.
  • Oversee monthly/quarterly accounting close for CASGEVY operating expense and COGS, including flux analysis and SOX compliance.
  • Support analytics and transparent reporting to drive forecast accuracy and explain variances with transparent judgments on risks and opportunities for Opex, CapEx, and COGS.
  • Support the financial planning process (annual budget, forecasts, long-range plan) with forward-looking observations and key scenario development.
  • Develop and coach team members to foster growth and inclusivity within the team.
  • Collaborate with CFO organization including Commercial Finance, DST Finance, Strategic Sourcing, and Accounting to promote continuous improvement, best practices, and efficient processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant finance management experience with strong technical/analytical skills; proven track record in a team-based environment.
  • Experience partnering with Manufacturing/Supply Chain executive teams.
  • Ability to manage processes across Operating Expenses, Inventory, and COGS; capable of building budgets, forecasts, and analyses in a dynamic environment.
  • Deep understanding of biotech/pharma manufacturing finance; ability to make and facilitate quick decisions.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to address a broad range of questions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.

  • Proactive, organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities with a continuous improvement mindset.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
