Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute network security vision, roadmap, and policies with focus on Zero Trust principles.
- Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership on emerging threats, trends, and technology investments related to Pfizer’s network.
- Lead day-to-day delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement of global network security operations to ensure availability, resilience, and effectiveness.
- Lead and develop a globally distributed network security operations team.
- Oversee operational management of network security technologies and services (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, secure network access controls).
- Direct operational response to network security events (investigation, escalation, containment, restoration, post-incident review).
- Operate network security services in alignment with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
- Define, monitor, and report KPIs/KRIs, service-level measures, and control effectiveness metrics.
- Identify/address operational risks, service gaps, recurring incidents, and performance issues via remediation and service improvement.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to transition new/enhanced capabilities into operations.
- Oversee third-party/managed security providers supporting network security operations.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/CS/IS or related field.
- 8+ years network security/cybersecurity experience.
- 5+ years leadership experience managing security teams/programs.
- Enterprise security technologies (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN).
- Cloud security knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Incident response, risk management, and regulatory compliance experience.
- Large-scale/highly regulated environment experience.
- Agile, collaborative, adaptable, proactive problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CISSP, CCNP, GIAC, or similar.
- Strategic thinking; strong analytical/credible; fact-based decisions.
- Excellent communication/presentation; structured approach to ambiguous problems; proactive.

Travel/Work Schedule:
- Travel <20% (domestic/international).
- Hybrid: work in assigned Pfizer office 2–3 days/week; not remote.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary $176,600–$294,300; bonus target 20% + eligibility for long-term incentive; 401(k) match/retirement contribution; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/dental/vision benefits.
