Director, Network Security Operations

Role: Lead Pfizer's global network security operations as Director, responsible for managing day-to-day security monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement aligned with Zero Trust principles. Responsibilities: develop security strategy, oversee operational management of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP); lead incident investigations; ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS; manage performance metrics and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance detection and response capabilities; oversee third-party security providers. Requirements: Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; 8+ years in network security/cybersecurity; 5+ years leadership experience; expertise in enterprise security tools and cloud security; experience in regulated, large-scale environments; strong management and strategic skills. Preferred: professional certifications (CISSP, CCNP, GIAC); excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills; proven ability to influence senior leadership; resourcefulness.
