Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee core medical operations processes for US Vaccines Medical (planning, execution tracking, governance, performance monitoring).
- Own annual medical planning and budgeting; align to enterprise requirements and therapeutic area priorities.
- Support resource planning, capacity assessments, and prioritization.
- Monitor execution vs. plans/budgets; identify risks/trade-offs/optimization opportunities and escalate recommendations.
- Shape and evolve the medical operating model (governance, decision forums, ways of working).
- Lead rollout/embedding of change initiatives; drive consistent best practices and process improvements.
- Advance AI/digital tools for operational efficiency, insight generation, and team effectiveness.
- Establish impact measurement (KPIs, dashboards, operating reviews).
- As needed, lead the TA communication plan (e.g., townhalls/live meetings).
- May manage medical operations team members, offshore support, and third-party vendors.
- Partner with senior medical leaders and cross-functional stakeholders; support launch readiness and adherence to policies/SOPs.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Business/Life Sciences/Public Health or related.
- 8+ years in Medical Affairs operations/business operations/PMO (pharma/biotech).
- 3+ years owning annual planning/budgeting with plan tracking.
- 3+ years execution tracking/performance management (KPIs/dashboards/operating reviews).
- 3+ years direct management and/or stakeholder management/matrix leadership (incl. vendors).
- Experience leading change in matrixed environments with autonomy/ambiguity.
- Strategic business operations experience; project management for multiple large projects.
- Experience in multicultural matrix organizations; negotiation/change management.
- Data/dashboard/digital + AI tool proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/PharmD/PhD or formal training; 4+ years Vaccines Medical Affairs or complex multi-asset experience.
- Track record transforming operating models across HQ/field; trusted strategic partner who can influence without authority.

Travel: ~15–20% as needed.
