Director, Medical Insights Platform Lead

Role: Lead the technical architecture and development of Pfizer's Medical Insights platform, InsightXplorer, ensuring scalable, reliable, and innovative data capabilities globally. Responsibilities: own platform design, prioritize build sequencing, translate regional and business needs into technical requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure challenges, and evaluate emerging AI and data sources for platform enhancement. Also, translate platform features into value propositions for stakeholders and support change management activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; 8+ years in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or tech industry; extensive experience architecting data or analytics platforms; ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority; strong communication skills. Preferred: advanced degrees (e.g., MS, PhD), hands-on proficiency with analytics and AI/ML tools (e.g., Python, Tableau, Dataiku), and experience building self-service analytics platforms. High-Value: experience with pharma data sources, analytics, and AI applications relevant to medical insights; hybrid work model with 2-3 days onsite; locations include NY, PA, MA, CT, Europe, or Montreal.
