Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and evolution of Medical Insights strategies, frameworks, standards, and ways of working.
- Drive alignment across Medical Affairs for consistency, quality, scalability, and value.
- Participate in Medical Insights governance and planning forums to support prioritization, roadmap alignment, and progress tracking.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities across the end-to-end Medical Insights lifecycle.
- Define/refine Insights use cases and business questions aligned to Medical strategies, asset plans, and evidence generation priorities.
- Translate business needs into functional and data requirements for Medical Insights tools/workflows.
- Evaluate analytics and AI-enabled capabilities for scientific rigor, compliance, usability, and relevance.
- Guide application of advanced analytics and AI approaches to address priority Medical questions.
- Translate insights into clear, actionable outputs that enable informed decision-making.
- Embed Medical Insights into core Medical processes (strategy development, evidence planning, scientific engagement).
- Define and monitor indicators of value/impact (relevance, timeliness, adoption, decision influence).
- Enable adoption of Medical Insights platforms/tools; monitor utilization and effectiveness.
- Support planning, change management, and communications for adoption.
- Conduct targeted analyses to surface emerging trends or unmet Medical needs.
- Build cross-functional relationships and serve as a trusted thought partner on capabilities, value, and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Life/ Biomedical/ Pharmaceutical Sciences or Data/Data Analytics (8+ years; 7+ with Masters; 5+ with PharmD/PhD).
- Experience in Medical Affairs/Medical Analytics/Medical Strategy/Medical Communications/R&D with understanding of how insights are generated and applied.
- 3+ years analyzing/interpreting/synthesizing data and insights, including visualization.
- Proven ability in complex, cross-functional, matrixed, global environments.
- Demonstrated project/initiative leadership through influence without formal authority.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; credibility with senior leaders.
- Ability to partner across cultures and regions.
- Strong English verbal/written communication across scientific/analytical/regulatory/business contexts.
- Solid understanding of pharma/Medical Affairs environment (clinical development, GCP, data interpretation, regulatory/promotional guidance, legal/compliance, governance).

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MS).
- Experience/certifications in analytics, AI-enabled solutions, digital health, project management, or business strategy.
- Familiarity with Tableau or Dataiku; understanding of modern data/AI in Medical Affairs.
