Position Summary
Director, Medical Information oversees delivery of high-quality medical information in a designated therapy area. Provides strategic leadership, ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, and manages a team of medical information professionals (internal and external).

Responsibilities:
- Define and execute Medical Information strategy through cross-functional partnership.
- Lead team planning for new product launches, line extensions, and key data releases.
- Ensure development/maintenance of scientifically accurate, balanced medical information (e.g., Standard/Custom Response Letters, payor dossiers).
- Deliver best-in-class Field Medical resources.
- Direct the Medical Information Call Center for accurate, timely responses to complex inquiries.
- Provide medical review of promotional and medical materials.
- Drive innovation via digital engagement, AI-enabled solutions, and advanced analytics.
- Lead submissions of compendia and guideline listings.
- Analyze/distribute actionable insights and metrics to inform medical strategy.
- Represent Medical Information at interdisciplinary meetings, congresses, and vendor discussions.
- Serve as preceptor to fellows/students and guide the Medical Information team.
- Manage agency partnerships and budgets.

Experience & Skills / Qualifications:
- MD, PharmD, or PhD required.
- Prior product launch experience (especially US).
- Oncology/Hematology preferred.
- 10+ years relevant pharmaceutical industry experience; prior team leadership required.
- Experience with strategy/planning/execution across drug development and commercialization.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations, guidelines, and FDA scientific exchange practices.
- Excellent oral/written communication; ability to lead cross-functionally; strong leadership/organization; team player; flexible in high-paced environments.

Work arrangement & Travel:
- Work away from office 20%–40% (approved by hiring manager).
- ~2–3 domestic/international congresses and company meetings.
